Events Coordinator

The Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and providing organizational and operational support in the development and execution of trade show and live event projects. This individual will assume ownership of each trade show and will be working with vendors, business sponsors, and sales team members. The Coordinator contributes to strategy, logistics, creative, budget development, revenue growth opportunities, driving brand awareness and lead generation. We're looking for an individual who can contribute both with ideas and getting projects successfully completed.

Responsibilities include:

-Trade show coordination: Program scheduling, execution, logistics and inventory management, communications liaison, administrative upkeep, event updates, post-event survey.

-Meets financial objectives: By forecasting requirements; tracking expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions and providing ROI evaluations.

-Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, promotion of events and coordination of marketing materials and support, assist with scheduling weekly meetings and meeting recaps with internal company groups. Develop vendor relationships.

-Project management: Setting and developing timelines, task lists, and divisions of duties.

-Event Reports: Maintain on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.

-Updates job knowledge: By participating in educational opportunities

-Enhances department and organization reputation: By accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- Web Landing Pages: Collaborate with the creative team to build and then maintain event landing pages and registration forms.

Additional Skills:

-Problem-solving and management through stressful situations

-Project management, timelines, and task management

-Registration and communications best practices (experience with event registration platforms)

-Vendor sourcing and management

-Understanding social media in event settings

- Time commitment full time; light travel, long days and some weekends are expected.

Qualifications for this position:

-Minimum two years of recent event-related experience.

-Prefer a marketing oriented background. Administrative skills are essential, including excellent organization, planning, and project management abilities.

-Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Slack, the experience is required. Experience with an event management platform and Salesforce is a big plus.

-Excellent communication skills, with a special focus on writing skills and the ability to proofread large documents.

-Exceptional time management and the ability to work effectively with minimal daily supervision in a virtual work environment. A commitment to meeting deadlines is essential.
